It is important to memorialize your wishes in a will or trust. It is important to arrange your affairs to minimize taxes. It is important to have appropriate insurance. All of these issues and more have to be addressed at the time of doing an effective estate plan. Generally, this requires that your attorney work with other professionals that you choose. This may include your accountant, insurance agent or financial advisor.
