Pennsylvania law provides that if you are divorces after making a Will any provision in the Will favoring or relating to the former spouse becomes ineffective for all puposes unless it appears from the wording in the Will that the provision was intended to survive the divorce. Just to be sure, it is even better to be proactive and change your Will when you get a divorce.
